Cradlepoint, a global leader in cloud-delivered 4G and 5G wireless network edge solutions, announced two new hires in the company’s APAC partner team. Judy Faulkner joins the company as the new Partner Account Manager for Australia and New Zealand and Tim Karamitos joins as Regional Sales Manager, Managed Service Providers for Asia Pacific.

Judy will report to John Boladian, who was appointed earlier this year to a new role for the company’s Asia Pacific region as Vice President, APAC Partner Sales. Tim will report to Gavin Wilson, Managing Director Asia Pacific, Cradlepoint. The company also announced recently the launch of a new partner platform – Cradlepoint Cascade, a sales and enablement tool for Cradlepoint partners globally.

Based in Sydney, Australia, Judy will be responsible for partner sales and partner engagement in Australia and New Zealand. Judy will be tasked with recruiting net new channel partners which complement Cradlepoint’s growth strategy, as well as mentoring partner sales representatives and sales engineers to ensure and enable optimum selling for partners.

“I’m so excited to join Cradlepoint, a company that is ahead of the curve in Wireless WAN technology. I can’t wait to share this technology with the greater channel community,” said Judy Faulkner, Partner Account Manager, ANZ Cradlepoint.

Tim is based in Melbourne, Australia and will be responsible for establishing relationships with key service providers in assigned customer accounts within the Asia Pacific region.  Tim will be tasked with coordinating Cradlepoint’s internal teams, to support and help meet Managed Service Provider account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

“As cloud-delivered Wireless WAN solutions take off across the Asia Pacific region, I am looking forward to working with our most innovative partners as we harness the power of 4G and 5G to deliver powerful solutions to our customers,” said Tim Karamitos, Regional Sales Manager, MSPs APAC, Cradlepoint.

Cradlepoint has also recently launched a new partner platform, Cradlepoint Cascade, which provides partners with a single location to access all the tools and data sources needed to do business with Cradlepoint and manage their Cradlepoint customers. Cradlepoint Cascade replaces the company’s previous platform - Partner Community - and brings all the backend systems together in a single snapshot that provides an easy way for partners to manage their Cradlepoint business. Partners can access the new platform using their NetCloud Manager credentials.

“Judy and Tim bring a wealth of experience working with some of the biggest partners in the industry. They will be an asset to our business as well as our partners in region,” said Gavin Wilson, Managing Director APAC, Cradlepoint. “As we continue to grow our partner team in APAC and develop new tools available to partners, we work towards ensuring all Cradlepoint partners are enabled, coached and supported in their customer engagements.”

Prior to joining Cradlepoint, Judy spent four years at McAfee as a Senior Channel Account Manager, responsible for the strategic management of NTT, Fujitsu and DXC, where she achieved 123% of her FY20 Revenue Target.  Prior to that she spent a year both at Argus TrueID and Hewlett Packard, where she was the National Channel Sales Specialist – Technology Services. She also spent five years at Symantec Corporation as a National Account Manager.

Tim joins Cradlepoint from Citrix, where he spent fifteen years in several technical and sales roles, most recently as a Principal Corporate Account Manager, responsible for transforming the way many large organisations including universities work from anywhere. In this role, he was the top Sales Representative in ANZ. Prior to that, Tim has held roles in Pre-sales and Senior Technology Consulting, responsible for major client project deployments, with projects ranging from small engagements to long term multi-million-dollar projects.
