NTT, a global IT infrastructure and services company, has announced the launch of a new data center campus called Noida 2. The campus, located in Noida's data center corridor within the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), will support a planned capacity of 52.8 MW of critical IT load in two data centers. It is carrier neutral and interconnected with NTT's other data center locations, providing seamless access to top-tier public cloud providers.
Campus Highlights
The campus spans six acres and offers advanced features such as high levels of automation to monitor and optimize facility performance and resources. The first data center on the campus, which was recently delivered, has an area of approximately 28,000 square meters and supports 22.4 MW of IT load. It is also the first data center campus in India to incorporate seismic dampers, ensuring uninterrupted operations during seismic events. This innovative approach underscores the commitment to operational resilience and uninterrupted services, reinforcing the facility's robust infrastructure in the face of potential seismic challenges.
Capacity Extension
With the addition of Noida 2, NTT's Global Data Centers division now has a total capacity of over 265 MW with 18 data centers across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru. NTT Global Data Centers employs advanced liquid cooling technologies in its data centers, allowing clients to deploy the latest AI and high-performance computer platforms.
