Telecom Fiji has partnered with Starlink to utilize its advanced satellite network and become the authorized Starlink reseller in the country, ensuring that every business and community can thrive in the digital age.

This agreement will allow Telecom Fiji to expand its service coverage significantly and provide high-speed internet access to a broader range of customers, including businesses in rural areas, schools, health centers, and government departments.

Starlink's advanced technology uses a network of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites to deliver fast internet access globally. This innovative solution will seamlessly integrate with Telecom Fiji's existing technology offerings, providing a wide range of connectivity and digital solutions tailored to the local market.

Telecom Fiji CEO, Charles Goundar, believes that partnering with Starlink is a significant milestone that will bring advanced satellite technology to the most remote parts of Fiji. Goundar mentioned that Starlink's service will complement their current product offerings, allowing them to provide innovative business solutions. They will soon announce attractive and flexible product options for businesses of all sizes and customers will be able to conveniently order through an online portal.

Customers will have the option to choose from various services such as a managed firewall for cybersecurity, cloud applications, backup, and storage at Telecom Fiji's data center, among others. Existing Telecom Fiji customers will have their monthly charges included in their bills for added convenience.

Goundar emphasized the benefits of this collaboration, including ensuring uninterrupted operations with backup links, seamless integration with cloud-based applications, and enhancing communication and productivity through advanced business communication technologies. Businesses will also be able to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) for improved efficiency and decision-making as part of their digital transformation.
