The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been selected to chair the Cloud Computing Working Group of the World Bank, highlighting the nation's significant strides in digital transformation.

Dr. Bushra AlBlooshi, Senior Consultant of Research and Innovation at the Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC), spearheaded the group's meeting, following the co-leadership tenure of Singapore and the United Kingdom.

With representation from 27 countries, international entities, and major companies, the working group is dedicated to advancing global standards and practices in cloud computing.

AlBlooshi asserted that the UAE's leadership in the working group solidifies the nation's prominent standing in future technologies, especially in the domain of cloud computing. She commended the UAE for establishing itself as a global hub for technological innovation and serving as an inspirational model for digital transformation.
