YouTube has rolled out a new AI-powered feature called 'Jump Ahead,' exclusively available to Premium members.

This feature uses an AI-driven process that identifies the most watched segments of each video, enabling viewers to skip directly to these parts instead of manually scanning through each chapter.

YouTube experimented with this feature among a select group of YouTube Premium subscribers. However, the company has not yet announced when 'Jump Ahead' will be made available to all users outside the U.S.

The 'Jump Ahead' feature operates by displaying a button to viewers who double-tap to skip ahead on a qualifying segment. This button guides them to the next point in the video that the AI predicts they're trying to reach. Additionally, creators can access this feature while watching their own videos, potentially gaining insights into which parts of their content receive the most views.
