Intelligent technology has become the new norm at the Xiamen University Malaysia campus, offering high-density Wi-Fi deployment that will empower and strengthen network access for all its staff and students.

The university, located Sepang, is the first of its kind to be introduced by a prestigious Chinese university and was designed with the vision to create a digital and smart campus that allowed students to realise their full potential through the utilisation of Huawei’s first class facilities and network infrastructure.

Wang Ruifang, the President of Xiamen University Malaysia said, “It is an important education project between China and Malaysia.”

He added that they have been working closely with Huawei Malaysia to “build a strategic cooperation framework and partnership agreement to cultivate elite talents for Malaysia.”

According to Khoo Nee Teck, CTO of Enterprise Business at Huawei Technologies Malaysia, the aim of the university is create an ecosystem with ICT applications where both students and teachers “are inspired to empower their teaching and learning outcomes” with these technologies.
