The Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII) has announced the return of the highly-anticipated 5th International Internet Expo and Summit (IIXS), which had been postponed due to the COVID pandemic. The largest internet and digital event in the country will be held at JI-Expo Kemayoran in Jakarta from August 10–12.
The event is expected to bring together key figures from the internet and digital sectors, government officials, media entrepreneurs and industry leaders to drive the growth and development of Indonesia's digital economy.
The lineup of noteworthy speakers at IIXS 2023 includes distinguished government officials and industry leaders. Among confirmed participants are the Minister of Politics, Law and Security, as well as the Acting Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia, Mahfud MD, and the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahudin Uno. Their presence reflects the government's commitment to supporting the digital industry and continuing to leverage technology for economic growth.
The expo is expected to draw attendees from the domestic and international spheres, constituting a worldwide take on the digital economy.
