Digital Edge, a rapidly growing digital infrastructure provider in Asia, has implemented a comprehensive set of wired and wireless upgrades from Juniper Networks, a leading provider of secure, AI-driven networks. These upgrades intend to support Digital Edge's ambitious expansion plans and meet the increasing digital demands of developing and emerging markets in the region.

As the digital economy in the region continues to accelerate and the demand for localized data center facilities rises, Digital Edge needs to upgrade its networking capabilities to accommodate its growing base of enterprise and hyperscale customers. With plans to expand its footprint and increase capacity to 500MW in the next five years, Digital Edge has chosen Juniper to provide scalable power, volume and space efficiency for its campus and data center network upgrades.

Juniper's full-stack suite of solutions simplifies infrastructure engineering, automates networking operations, and improves operational efficiency as Digital Edge scales. Within each data center, the QFX5120 data center switch offers high-throughput and low-latency cross connects, allowing customers to connect to their preferred digital resources or business partners and support a thriving digital ecosystem.

Additionally, the MX204 universal router provides cost-optimized interconnections, offering Digital Edge a high-density, reliable, and operationally simplified platform between its data centers. For campus power, Digital Edge relies on AP43 wireless access points, along with EX2300 and EX3400 Ethernet switches, to deliver highly reliable connectivity and intuitive AIOps capabilities.

Leveraging Juniper Mist Cloud, these solutions provide Wi-Fi and wired assurance services, as well as the Marvis Virtual Network Assistant, enabling automation with AIOps, rich insight into experiences, AI-driven RF optimization, and proactive fault resolutions. With the power of Mist AI, critical business systems will run smoothly with minimal intervention.

Juniper's solutions have allowed Digital Edge to differentiate itself by offering an expanded interconnected ecosystem of high-performance services, regardless of location. This has empowered Digital Edge's customers to scale at their own pace, without limitations.

Digital Edge operates carrier-neutral colocation and connectivity services through 17 data centers across six markets in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea and the Philippines.
