Advancing 5G Readiness and B2B Solutions

This platform, part of Ericsson's Telecom Business Support System (BSS) portfolio, enables Indosat to enhance digital services like 5G readiness and advanced B2B solutions. By allowing real-time monetization, the platform helps Indosat meet various customer needs and sets the stage for future business models leveraging 5G advancements, such as network slicing, to offer customized connectivity for both consumers and businesses.

The Digital Monetization Platform is designed to cater to approximately 100 million Indosat subscribers across Indonesia. A key achievement in this deployment was the swift migration of millions of prepaid subscribers in just 18 days, including a highly intensive 48-hour period, completed seamlessly without any disruptions.

Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat, stated, “The successful launch of the DMP was a testament to the collaborative effort of all stakeholders towards our shared goal. This partnership with Ericsson will help Indosat improve service quality and provide an excellent experience to our customers. Through real-time monetization and a highly adaptable platform, we are enabling new business models that will drive industry growth.”

Krishna Patil, President Director of Ericsson Indonesia, commented, “As a global ICT leader, Ericsson is dedicated to supporting Indosat in enhancing its digital offerings by providing cutting-edge innovations with top-notch technology. By deploying a full-stack DMP, we believe Indosat can enhance customer services while smoothly transitioning to the 5G network. Our longstanding partnership supports Indosat's transformation and accelerates digitalization across the country.”
