Nxtra by Airtel has introduced artificial intelligence (AI) in its facilities to enhance operational excellence. Nxtra is now the first in the country to integrate AI into its data centers, launching new digital capabilities such as predictive maintenance, greater energy efficiency, automation of operations, and optimized capital utilization.

The company’s AI deployment is powered by the SmartSense platform from Ecolibrium, a prominent AI technology provider for infrastructure. The initiative was initially rolled out at Nxtra’s Chennai data center, with plans for implementation across all of its primary data centers in the near future.

Ashish Arora, CEO of Nxtra by Airtel, explained that the brand consistently integrates innovative approaches to create sustainable, future-ready data centers focused on enhancing customer experiences. Highlighting the partnership with Ecolibrium, he noted that incorporating AI into the core of their data centers represents a critical move toward advancing energy efficiency and overall performance through automation and advanced technology.
