Intracom Telecom, the global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced the signing of an agreement with Lintasarta, one of the leading and most comprehensive ICT companies in Indonesia, to supply its latest Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) wireless system, WiBAS-OSDR along with company's network management system (uni|MS).

More specifically, Intracom Telecom has partnered with netWAVE, an Indonesian System Integrator and Solution Provider to supply to Lintasarta base stations and terminals. Lintasarta, has selected Intracom Telecom's WiBAS-OSDR after an international tender, technical evaluation and extensive field testing of the offered systems, in order to offer superior broadband connectivity services to its growing number of corporate customers in Indonesia. The WiBAS-OSDR will be used in Lintasarta's network upgrade in the licensed 10.5 GHz band and completion of the project is expected by the end of the year.

By utilizing WiBAS-OSDR, Lintasarta shall exploit its unrivalled capabilities, such as the highest capacity in the industry, the competitive cost per Mbit, and the 1024-QAM modulation to decrease its annual spending on fees for operating frequencies, reduce the expenses for site rental and better utilize radio resources.

Intracom Telecom has been innovating in the wireless access field for over two decades, having successfully developed and deployed its PtMP systems addressing the constantly growing demand for broadband access services. Customers spanning from Internet Solutions in South Africa, MTS Group in Russia, Etisalat in the United Arab Emirates and Slovanet in Slovakia are some of the company's latest Point-to-Multipoint deployments.
