SLT-MOBITEL, Sri Lanka's leading telco provider, plans to continuously expand 5G trials in the country by partnering with Pristine Innovations, a leading IT and ERP solution provider, to strengthen the 5G application ecosystem. This collaboration intends to develop a platform that will enable the creation of low-latency 5G applications in Sri Lanka.

SLT-MOBITEL and Pristine Innovations plan to create a networking platform for ecosystem partners to learn about 5G technology and its capabilities. In a groundbreaking project, SLT-MOBITEL and Pristine Innovations have successfully demonstrated the potential of 5G technology combined with cutting-edge technologies such as NB-IoT (Narrowband Internet of Things) and artificial intelligence. Internally, they created a 5G-based Remote-Controlled      Racing Car and a 5G-based FPV (First-Person View) Racing Drone. The communication required for these devices' control and video streaming was made possible by SLT-MOBITEL's cutting-edge 5G trial network.
