Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) has expanded its partnership with Netcracker Technology to improve its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services in Indonesia, driven by the growth of its subscribers.

Indosat's FTTH subscriber base has grown tenfold following significant expansions of the operator's fiber network coverage.

This partnership holds significant benefits for Indosat as it endeavors to modernize its IT infrastructure. By leveraging Netcracker's Digital BSS portfolio, Indosat gains access to advanced technology that enables efficient management of its expanding business operations. Specifically, the partnership facilitates the optimization of services such as home broadband (HBB), fixed-wireless access (FWA), and over-the-top (OTT) services.

With Netcracker's solutions, Indosat can enhance its agility, streamline operations, and deliver superior experiences to its customers across various service offerings. Additionally, the modernization of Indosat's IT systems enhances scalability and flexibility, positioning the company for sustained growth and competitiveness in the dynamic telecommunications market.

Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison reiterated Indosat’s aspirations in empowering Indonesia. He believes that this partnership will accelerate the country’s digital transformation, in line with the government’s plans.

“This partnership will broaden our portfolio and expand our home broadband business, helping us to consistently deliver world-class digital experiences to our customers,” said Sinha.

The deployment of Netcracker's Digital BSS is expected to expand Indosat's monetization opportunities and streamline business and operations to support new product and service offerings.

Sylvain Seignour, President of Netcracker, expressed confidence in the support the company can offer in helping Indosat achieve its goals.

“We are delighted that Indosat has identified Netcracker as its preferred IT supplier of choice as the company adds new lines of business and builds up its presence across different customer segments,” said Seignour.
