Nokia and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) have announced a two-year extension of their collaboration to enhance IOH’s 4G and 5G network across the nation.
The renewed agreement, spanning 2025 through 2027, aims to bolster IOH’s operational performance while contributing to the growth of Indonesia's evolving telecommunications sector.
As part of the deal, Nokia will deploy solutions from its AirScale equipment portfolio, featuring multiband radio technology and high-capacity baseband systems.

Leveraging advanced technologies like AI and machine learning (ML), Nokia will optimize IOH’s network investments, enabling efficient resource allocation in areas with high demand. This initiative will expand IOH's network coverage and enhance connectivity in key regions.

The partnership will also leverage Nokia’s FastMile Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions to extend broadband access to underserved areas, improving digital inclusion for homes and businesses. The expanded 4G and 5G coverage, combined with FWA, is expected to drive economic growth and provide millions of Indonesians with improved connectivity.
