Amazon Web Services (AWS) and eCloudvalley Digital Technology (ECV), a top provider of worldwide cloud solutions with a significant presence in ASEAN, declared a multi-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) between AWS.
Both sides seek to rush the delivery of cloud solutions to startups, small and medium businesses (SMBs), and enterprises through the SCA, which brings together AWS's worldwide training resources and ECV's regional cloud experience. ECV intends to further develop its Migration and Modernization Practice and offer distinctive services to construct, move, manage, operate and optimize clients' AWS infrastructure and applications in order to satisfy their customers’ needs for digitalization. The agreement enables ECV to broaden its current global footprint and create vertical expertise in financial services, manufacturing and retail from its current 10 global offices, including the United States, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
With a focus on introducing new services about Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Data Analytics and Cloud Security to suit industry demands, the collaboration aims to enable ECV to establish a new innovation lab with AWS. The lab strives to create new, scalable cloud solutions targeted at certain industries, assisting ECV's clients with their digital transformation.
Demand for skilled digital workers will remain high in the upcoming years as businesses and governmental organizations across the globe continue to convert into digital enterprises. The most recent research found that 76% of Asia-Pacific companies asked indicated they were looking to fill positions that required digital skills, but 72% said it was difficult to find the talent they needed. The SCA helps ECV build its AWS Competencies and create a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
According to the CEO of eCloudvalley, MP Tsai, as ECV is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, they are thrilled to embark on next year’s growth with AWS as their Premier Tier Services Partner. He added, “Entering a strategic collaboration agreement with AWS can enable our startups, SMBs, and enterprise customers to more quickly access and effectively adopt cloud technology to address industry challenges, scale, and drive business growth while developing the necessary cloud talent to meet industry demand.
Further, the Head of Partner Sales at AWS Corrie Briscoe stated, “I am delighted that AWS is expanding our relationship with ECV to drive innovation, boost cloud capabilities, and help more businesses globally digitally transform. The strategic collaboration agreement is an affirmation of AWS’s long-term commitment to partners like ECV and our joint customers, and we look forward to combining ECV’s deep industry and market segment experience with AWS to enable customers to leverage innovative solutions and transform their businesses.”
