NTT Ltd., a major provider of IT infrastructure and services, unveiled SPEKTRA (Sentient Platform for Network Transformation). Supported by NTT's managed services experience, expertise and extensive technical resources, the platform offers customers a clear route toward network transformation. Ninety-three percent of organizations acknowledge the network's significance as the foundation of digital transformation, according to NTT's Global Network survey.

SPEKTRA expands on the Managed Campus Networks platform's extensive network administration and monitoring features, which were introduced in April 2022. SPEKTRA captures the company's vision for a completely autonomous Network Operations Center (NOC) utilizing AIOps, predictive analytics and automation techniques, resulting in improved network performance and reliability, expanded monitoring capabilities and increased operational efficiency.

SPEKTRA enhances the proactive and preventive capabilities of the ticket management system by integrating cloud and edge capabilities, as well as increased anomaly detection and root cause analytics. Additionally, SPEKTRA makes use of the capabilities of edge platforms to give businesses the more thorough network observability that they want. SPEKTRA gives clients much-needed observability into the operation of their services and applications by giving them the ability to monitor not just the networks of our clients but also the services that are operating on top of those networks and how apps are interacting with the network.

Program Vice President of Infrastructure Services at IDC Curtis Price stated, “This new release of the SPEKTRA platform and its featured enhancements leverage the latest innovation in AIOps, automation and software-driven, centralized management techniques while upgrading service levels, extending the scope of commercial flexibility and placing the focus on business outcomes.

“This combination of platform attributes, underpinned by NTT’s heritage as a managed service provider, takes its value proposition to a new level, delivering the improved network performance, operational efficiency and user experiences that modern enterprises seek from their managed network solutions,” he concluded.
