HKT has launched Asia's first 800 Gbps2 wide area network (WAN) solution, the AI Superhighway, based on CE2.0 technology, catering to enterprises in Hong Kong.
The 800 Gbps2 AI Superhighway is a private, fiber-based network offering ultra-fast, low-latency, secure, and reliable connections. It is designed to meet the growing demand for advanced supercomputing capabilities, which is being driven by the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), cloud services, edge computing, and other data-intensive applications that require high-performance computing.
This innovative solution facilitates the swift transfer of large data sets for training large language models (LLM) and supports AI inference applications, including genomics, scientific simulations, and virtual agents in contact centers.
