Singtel and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create a new submarine cable system connecting Singapore and Batam, Indonesia. This new system, called INSICA (Indonesia Singapore Cable System) Consortium, is expected to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2026.

The revenue from fixed communication services in Hong Kong is projected to grow at a rate of 2.0% annually, increasing from USD 2.7 billion in 2023 to USD 3.0 billion in 2028. VEON, a global digital operator that offers combined connectivity and online services, has announced that Banglalink, its digital operator in Bangladesh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Robi, the second largest mobile operator in Bangladesh and a subsidiary of Axiata Group.
