For development this year, Dito Telecommunity is counting on launching post-paid mobile plans and entering the enterprise market.

According to the news, chief administrative officer Adel Tamano predicted that these services would increase customers because there had been strong demand for them. The operator had earlier set a goal of 15 million customers this year;  however, it only reached 12 million in November 2022.

According to Tamano, the products will attract clients with their reasonable costs because the operator's modern and effective technology allows prices to be set at a level that is competitive. The business is presently working to streamline the technology and business support for its new products.

Despite being far behind incumbent duo Globe and Smart, the executive claimed that the Philippines' third-largest operator by subscribers has a “very bright future” as infrastructure plans are still in the works.

Tamano stated, “We have commitments in terms of population coverage and speed. In fact, we even indicated how much money we are going to put into setting up our network.”

In order to reach its coverage goals since gaining its license in 2019, Dito promised to invest PHP 27 billion (US$487 million) in its network this year. By the end of 2023, the company expects to have spent a projected total of PHP 230 billion. Dito currently has a 78% coverage rate, and by the end of the year, 80% coverage is the goal.
