Advanced Info Service (AIS) has revealed plans to implement Oracle Alloy and introduce AIS Cloud, the nation’s first locally owned and operated hyperscale cloud.
Utilizing Oracle Alloy, AIS will provide its customers and enterprises across Thailand, including the public sector, with access to over 100 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, featuring the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). Leveraging its unique proposition, Oracle is equipped to provide AI and a comprehensive range of over 100 cloud services across dedicated, public, and hybrid cloud environments globally.
Supporting Thailand’s IT Infrastructure and Modernization
AIS, with a strong track record serving over 45 million subscribers in Thailand, is expanding its reach by leveraging Oracle Alloy to enhance its cloud offerings. The new AIS Cloud will address data residency and sovereignty needs, including compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection (PDPA) Act and Cybersecurity Act. As the sole hyperscale cloud in Thailand, AIS Cloud will offer business resilience alongside local disaster recovery capabilities, aiming to capitalize on cloud scalability and performance while innovating at hyperscale speeds.

AIS Cloud will be launched across two AIS data centers in Thailand, where AIS will manage the cloud services, including local support, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer data will remain within Thailand to address data sovereignty and industry regulations.

Through Oracle Alloy, AIS will offer over 100 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services to both public and private sector organizations, as well as its managed service partners. This setup will enable customers to either return their existing cloud environments from abroad or transition and modernize their on-premises systems to the AIS Cloud within Thailand.
